Demand controlled ventilation (DCV) can reduce the energy consumption of outdoor air in the context of meeting the requirements of the indoor air quality. Based on the current research on DCV with little concern on occupant’s subjective evaluation of indoor air quality, adopting a combination of tests and questionnaires, obtains the influence trend of human fatigue state on indoor air quality evaluation, and gives the timing of introducing adaptability factor a and the value a. Taking a classroom as the control object, establishes a system simulation model using Simulink. The simulation results show that the demand controlled ventilation system based on human fatigue state can save 21.8% of energy comparing with the constant air volume system.
